Location: Tallahassee
The OPS Grants Specialist V position is located in the Florida Division of Emergency Management's Bureau of Financial Management in Tallahassee. The role provides technical financial assistance to nonprofit organizations and for-profit consultants managing state and federal emergency management grants, ensuring compliance with agreement terms and proper fund expenditure. Responsibilities include monitoring grantee performance, reviewing deliverables, reconciling grant funds, maintaining reports and spreadsheets, assisting with contract development, and supporting emergency response operations when needed.
Keyqualifications:
- Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Minimum 2 years grants and/or contract management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to travel for monitoring activities, conferences, and trainings
- Working knowledge of state and federal rules, regulations, and guidelines for contracts and grants management
