Location: Tallahassee
The Department of Environmental Protection seeks a Planner I for its Submerged Lands and Environmental Resource Coordination (SLERC) program in Tallahassee. This professional position involves drafting, reviewing, and preparing rule making documents for environmental resource permitting programs statewide, coordinating with agency attorneys, and assisting with public presentations and comment compilation.
Key qualifications:- At least 4 years of verifiable related experience in planning, evaluation, research, analysis, business, government or fiscal work
- Knowledge of methods for compiling, organizing and analyzing data
- Ability to prepare reports and records
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with drafting state regulatory rules (preferred)
