Government Operations Consultant III

The Government Operations Consultant III works within the Agency for Health Care Administration's Bureau of Medicaid Policy, researching and developing policies for the Florida Medicaid program. The role involves analyzing federal regulations, state statutes, and industry trends; coordinating policy implementation across Medicaid authorities; and providing technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills in a fast-paced team environment.

• Knowledge of Florida Medicaid program, federal regulations, state statutes, and administrative rules
• Research and analytical skills for policy development and review of peer-reviewed research and legislation
• Ability to develop, maintain, and edit program policies and procedures
• Technical writing and communication skills for presentations, training materials, and stakeholder coordination
• Knowledge of Medicaid fiscal operations, claims processing, and billing procedures
