Paramedicjobs involveresponding to emergency calls, providing advanced life support, and ensuring patient stability during transport. Paramedics assess patients, administer treatments, and direct EMTs. They also maintain ambulances, equipment, and ensure compliance with protocols.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Current Paramedic license in Florida.
• Ability to perform invasive procedures under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of human growth and development and appropriate patient care
• Experience with critical care transport (if applicable)
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

• Current Paramedic license in Florida.

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU.
