Position

Details

Part‑time podiatry support role, working up to 2 days per week in the Tallahassee, FL area. Eligible candidates must be able to travel within a 3‑hour radius and, for locations beyond 2.5 hours, are provided overnight lodging and meals. Mileage reimbursement and paid time for driving over normal commute time are included.

Responsibilities
  • Arrive before the podiatrist to set up clinic rooms and verify patient schedules.
  • Transport patients to and from exam areas within the facility.
  • Assist the podiatrist in patient preparation for foot examinations (e.g., removing shoes and socks).
  • Support administrative duties such as chart updates as needed.
  • Spend up to 3 hours of travel time each way during shifts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous caregiver or nursing‑home experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last five years.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Work is performed within nursing‑home settings. The candidate must have the ability to push or pull a wheelchair weighing up to approximately 200 lbs. All part‑time employees earn paid sick time based on the hours they work.
