Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a team in Port St Joe, FL. This is a 13-week assignment, with possible extension.

Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing professional, accurate, and efficient specimen collection services. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a rural setting with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection while ensuring proper patient identification and documentation.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Deliver error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
• Build trust and confidence by explaining procedures to patients.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and patient safety standards.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while upholding process excellence.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED)
• 1+ years of direct draw experience (REQUIRED due to high patient volume)
• Medical assistant or paramedic training (PREFERRED)
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (PREFERRED)
• Keyboard/data entry experience (REQUIRED)
• Reliable transportation (Uber/public transit NOT considered reliable)
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills
