• Provide personal care with dignity (bathing, toileting, grooming)
• Offer companionship & reassurance; monitor for safety throughout the night
• Assist with transfers/mobility (training provided; safe techniques emphasized)
• Prepare light snacks/next-day setup; light housekeeping as needed
• Follow each client’s personalized Plan of Care
• Document visits via mobile app and communicate updates to the care team

• A genuine heart for seniors and helping others
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Smartphone (for schedule, care notes, and team communication)
• Ability to pass required screenings (Level 2 background check and other pre-hire steps)
• Respect for confidentiality, client rights, and professional boundaries
• Reliable, on-time, and able to stay awake/alert the full shift

• CNA/HHA or prior home care experience
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care familiarity
• Transfer assistance experience (gait belt, slide board, etc.)
• Comfort with pets and common household environments

• Awake overnight shifts (common blocks: 8p–8a, 9p–7a, 10p–6a)
• Cases across Sarasota (e.g., Palmer Ranch, Gulf Gate, Siesta Key, Downtown, Fruitville, South Sarasota)
