Our seasonal applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently. To provide a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services inclusive of oxygen therapy, therapeutic gas administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, ventilator management and acute (Respiratory) care services to both inpatients and outpatients of the institution, to include all age ranges from neonatal through geriatrics.
QualificationsEducation:
Minimum education graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program.
Required Licensure/Certification:
Current Florida Registered or Certified license; BLS certification.
Required Licensure/Certification: ACLS, PALS, and NRP prior to hire.
Preferred Licensure/Certification:
Registered.
Other Requirements:
Competencies, training and certifications as required by area of clinical specialty.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Adequate visual and hearing senses to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition.
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment.
Experience:
Preferred 1 year Acute Care and Nursery Experience.
