Paramedic Emergency Transport performs pre-hospital advanced life support, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients, during transport to an HCA facility. Key duties include operating an emergency vehicle, providing critical care, performing invasive procedures, and communicating patient status to receiving medical personnel. The role requires a state-licensed paramedic, with certifications such as BLS and ALS, a valid driver's license, and experience.

• Licensed as a Paramedic in the state where the job is located.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• At least one year of field paramedic experience with an EMS agency or clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (typically no more than six points in the last seven years).
• Completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) and potentially other preferred certifications like Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU.
