LSF is seeking a talented Manager II who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.

Purpose and Impact

The Manager II seeks to support the mission of LSF by managing and evaluating all assigned programs and staff and assumes the primary responsibility for program implementation and maintenance of quality services. This is a non-direct care position.

Essential Functions
  • Provides direct supervision and leadership to House Coordinators over each residential home; identify strengths and opportunities for improvement to promote employee development.
  • Meets with each assigned direct report monthly to review team progress toward program goals.
  • Attends staffing’s and meetings as required. Represents LSF in the community and in partnership with Lead Agencies, case management organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitors daily operations of residential team to ensure client safety, medication management, and case management progression toward agency’s contract goals.
  • Identifies cases of special interest or increased risk and arranges for staffing’s with Case Management Organizations, clinical team, and other stakeholders to promote a multi-disciplinary approach to case resolution and problem-solving.
  • Coordinate with Intake Coordinator and Case Manager to increase success.
  • Coordinates with Learning Center to oversee recreational plans, scheduling, transportation, activities, and outings, such as church, shopping and outside leisure events and ensure appropriate staff ratios
  • Participates in on‑call duties for Crisis intervention and emergencies.
  • Performs written employee evaluations for all assigned direct reports in a timely manner.
  • Participates in recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees, volunteers, and interns.
  • Fully supports the retention of employees through direct support to the residential team
  • Responsible for creation of house parent scheduling for overnight, weekend, and holidays
  • Observes and monitors mother and child’s play and social activities and interactions with house parents to give immediate support to residents and feedback to team members.
  • Assures all service plans for youth and their infants are actively progressing toward program goals.
  • Ensures compliance with residential staff training requirements; trains house parents on household related activities such as dispensing medication, budgeting meals, and menu planning.
  • Manages and responds to youth care needs and requirements to promote program goals
  • Performs general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance, completing internal reports and paperwork, responding to, sending emails, and making phone calls.
  • Attends strategic planning meetings and other programmatic meetings
  • Collects and reports all data for licensure and COA as needed.
  • Provides additional staffing for needs of residents within budget
  • Maintains a healthy and safe environment and abides by 65C‑46, and Quality Standards and COA.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned relevant to this program function.
  • Willing and available to cover one overnight shift per week as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Mobility:
    Ability to move freely throughout the facility and surrounding property, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed to observe staff, assist residents, and inspect facilities.
  • Lifting:
    Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, including assisting clients with mobility, transfers, or personal items.
  • Vision and Hearing:
    Must have adequate visual and auditory acuity to monitor the safety and wellbeing of residents, observe staff and facility conditions, read and prepare reports, and operate a vehicle safely.
  • Manual Dexterity:
    Requires sufficient hand‑eye coordination to operate office equipment, use a computer, and assist with resident care or household tasks as needed.
  • Communication:
    Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English clearly and effectively to communicate with residents, staff, families, and external partners.
