Position Summary
As the Senior Manager, Pharma Services Growth, you will be a critical member of the Trade Strategy team. You will support the Lead Director in articulating the vision and strategy for pharma-facing initiatives, building business cases, managing external relationships, and executing new programs that reduce costs and improve access to pharmaceuticals for CVS customers, clients, members, and patients.
To achieve the enterprise’s growth targets you will stay ahead of healthcare trends, defend CVS’s strategic positions, create compelling business cases for top ideas, and incubate and launch bold initiatives. The role demands an entrepreneurial, strategic mindset, a strong executive presence, and the ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources to generate innovative business concepts.
Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in Strategy and/or Corporate Development within healthcare, with focus on experts in PBM or pharmaceutical segments.
5+ years of experience with external client management, preferably in Pharma or healthcare.
Ability to generate new ideas and approaches for targeting, generating, and delivering value.
Experience providing thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders; comfortable in ambiguous environments.
Mature oral and written communication, entrepreneurial skillsets, and intermediate MS Office skills.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities at once.
Proven ability to develop analyses, presentations, and support material to recommend strategy or change initiatives, and to generate new ideas and potential deals.
Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills, having built and led integrated, multi‑functional teams in an agile, fast‑paced environment; strong executive presence.
Experience bringing non‑traditional ideas to leadership for buy‑in.
Experience developing strong relationships across an organization and with relevant external constituents.
At least 3 years of experience in managed care, including PBM, Pharma, market access, account management, specialty pharmacy, or health plan experience.
MBA or Management consulting experience.
Bachelor's Degree required.
MBA preferred.
Pay Range$67,900.00 - $
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The role is eligible for a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program, and includes an equity award target.
