Responsibilities
Provide critical care nursing to ICU, COVID ICU, PCU, and COVID units based on acuity
Manage ventilated patients, trachs, critical care drips including sedation
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to rapid patient changes
Float between ICU-level units as needed based on staffing and acuity
Function as CNA when required due to overstaffing
Collaborate with RT, pharmacy, physicians, and leadership for patient care
Adapt to fluctuating admission volumes and changing unit needs
Requirements
Experience
ICU experience with vents, trachs, and critical care drips
Strong COVID ICU or ICU-level acuity experience
LTAC RNs may be considered with strong ICU/vent experience
Licenses and Certifications
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
NIHSS and TNCC preferred
Education
ASN required
