Our client, a healthcare provider specializing in Payment Processing services, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the billing and operational support department, supporting three to five practices in Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical Records, Insurance verifications, Appeals/Denials, and AR Management, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, teamwork, and a positive attitude, while working in a stressful environment.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Sarasota, FL
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?- Correspond with commercial to resolve outstanding balances and coding denials
- Communicate effectively with payer representatives to support denial resolutions
- Build positive relationships with team members, physicians, and practice staff
- Manage account receivables by following up on unpaid claims in a timely manner
- Submit appeals and collect patient payments accurately and efficiently
