Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Florida State DOH license required if applicable
• Strong preference for experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR
• Strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida placements
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• 24-bed CAT Scan unit within a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex
• Team includes radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
• Day shift staffed with director, radiologist, and 6-7 techs; night shift staffed with charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 techs depending on volume
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on patient stability
• All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Meditech EMR system used
• Schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Call requirements of 4-6 shifts per month on off days
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner imaging, and X-rays
• Create diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues to assist in accurate patient assessments
• Facility specializes in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and Women's Services
• Facility is a teaching hospital ranked among the best in the nation
• Black scrubs required, to be provided by the candidate
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
