Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS registration in general, vascular, and OB/GYN for a 13-week travel assignment.

• ARDMS or ARRT RVT registration required
• ARDMS OB/GYN or ABD certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• License required if applicable
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• Acute care hospital Ultrasound department on a 204-bed campus
• Rotating shifts including Tuesday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM shifts
• Responsible for at least 1 weekend per month, rotating as primary or backup on-call technologist
• Call requirements of approximately 4-10 shifts per month depending on staffing needs
• Uses GE Logiq 9 and 10 ultrasound equipment
• Documentation via Meditech Expanse
• Performs abdomen, OB/GYN, transvaginal, and vascular exams on upper and lower extremities, as well as pediatric, small parts, and NICU exams
• Facility is ACR accredited
• Black scrub color required
• Fast learner with ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
