Title Vascular Neurology APP

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group has an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a busy Neurology practice with an emphasis on vascular neurology inpatient and outpatient care located on Sarasota Memorial Hospital Campus.

• Join a team of three vascular neurologists as part of a larger Neurology group.
• 6 outpatient clinic days a month and 10 hospital shifts a month to include 1 weekend and an extra Sunday.
• Independent outpatient clinic and collaborative rounding on both vascular and general neurology patients on the service.
• Responsible for stroke alerts when on hospital service in conjunction with general neurology APPs and assigned vascular neurologist.
• Inpatient coverage at one hospital with telestroke coverage for remote locations.

• Current NCCPA or ACNP Certification.
• Active or eligible for licensure by the State of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Neurology experience preferred.
