HR/IT Training Specialist

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: General Manager

Summary: Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Trainer for one of our clients with expertise in various software, including Yardi, to join our team. You will play a key role in onboarding new hires and providing ongoing training and support to existing staff. Must be open to learning new software and training employees to use that software.

We are seeking an individual who possesses expertise in both human resources practices and information technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs:
  • Onboarding, company policies, and procedures
  • Yardi
  • Synerion
  • ADP
  • Other software as required
  • Train new hires and existing staff on using Yardi and/or Synerion for their specific job functions.
  • Provide ongoing support to staff and troubleshoot any Yardi and Synerion-related issues they encounter.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Yardi features and updates, integrating them into training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure training programs align with business needs and Yardi best practices.
  • Create and maintain clear and concise training materials (written and audiovisual aids).
  • Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Trainer.
    • Proven experience in developing and delivering effective training programs for adult learners.
    • In-depth knowledge of Yardi.
    • Experience with onboarding new hires.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and maintain engaging training materials.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a knack for explaining complex information in a clear and understandable way.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

    Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: A typical work week is forty (40) hours per week. Work hours are determined by your supervisor. During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, the position may require longer hours.

    Education and Experience: 3-5 years of Yardi experience, 3-5 years of training experience.

    Work Authorization: Must be able to legally work in the United States.
