• Deploy program information security measures for assigned systems to meet government requirements, policies, and instructions
• Implement DoD Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Air Force Instruction 17‑101, Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for assigned systems
• Conduct security analysis of system threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces; define and assess compliance with government standards
• Identify root causes and threat prioritization; recommend/execute corrective actions
• Perform audits, security assessments, and continuous monitoring to safeguard the security posture and integrity of assigned systems
• Work independently and closely with the Information Assurance Officer (IAO)/Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to coordinate and implement system security patch management, hardware and software upgrades, installations, diagnosis, and troubleshooting efforts
• Support authorized independent inspections and risk assessments; implement appropriate risk mitigations and lead/participate in incident response actions
• Conduct vulnerability scans, push patches to systems, and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Coordinate with team members, IAO/ISSM as required to maintain Interim Authority to Test (IATT) or Authority to Operate (ATO)

• 3 to 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in the applicable discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer interaction skills
• Willingness and ability to learn and apply experience to unique information systems
• Ability to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group
• Meet position and certification requirements as outlined in DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualifications and Management Program
• CompTIA Security+ Certification required
• Preferred: CISSP-ISSMP
• Desired:
  Experience with the DoD JSIG
• Selected candidate must have the ability to be granted and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance if required.
