Duties- Deploy program information security measures for assigned systems to meet government requirements, policies, and instructions
- Implement DoD Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Air Force Instruction 17‑101, Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for assigned systems
- Conduct security analysis of system threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces; define and assess compliance with government standards
- Identify root causes and threat prioritization; recommend/execute corrective actions
- Perform audits, security assessments, and continuous monitoring to safeguard the security posture and integrity of assigned systems
- Work independently and closely with the Information Assurance Officer (IAO)/Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to coordinate and implement system security patch management, hardware and software upgrades, installations, diagnosis, and troubleshooting efforts
- Support authorized independent inspections and risk assessments; implement appropriate risk mitigations and lead/participate in incident response actions
- Conduct vulnerability scans, push patches to systems, and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with team members, IAO/ISSM as required to maintain Interim Authority to Test (IATT) or Authority to Operate (ATO)
- 3 to 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in the applicable discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer interaction skills
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply experience to unique information systems
- Ability to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group
- Meet position and certification requirements as outlined in DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualifications and Management Program
- CompTIA Security+ Certification required
- Preferred: CISSP-ISSMP

Experience with the DoD JSIG - Selected candidate must have the ability to be granted and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance if required.
