We're Hiring:Oracle Developer!
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our team in Tallahassee. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design, development, and optimization using Oracle technologies. You will play a key role in enhancing our database systems to support business objectives and improve performance.
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Work Mode: Work From Office
Role: Oracle Developer (On-site)
Contract Duration: 1 year + possibility of extension/conversion to permanent role

What You'll Do- Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions
- Optimize SQL queries for improved performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly
- Conduct data modeling and database architecture planning
- Ensure adherence to best practices in database management
- 5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as Web Logic Server and Oracle HTTP Server
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems such as Florida PALM and FLAIR
- Knowledge of State of Florida accounting practices from a technical implementation perspective
- Experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development
- Knowledge of the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or Florida PALM
- Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of application and data security best practices
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Oracle CertificationsPreferred:
Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Oracle APEX Developer, or Oracle Middleware certifications
