IT Consultant, IT Business Analyst
The Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Asset Management Associate Analyst leads a customer focused asset management organization to successfully execute the company's vision. This organization’s goal is to deliver high quality AM services through strategic partnership with the business via Tech Ops leadership, and/or Tech Ops associates. The Tech Ops AM Associate Analyst will strategically track patterns of hardware being ordered and AM services to provide excellent support to all RTG locations and its affiliates.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of business acumen, strategic and critical thinking and possess the ability to envision, establish and inspire the organization. The Tech Ops AM Associate Analyst will serve as a liaison between Business units and IT users, Managers, and vendors to foster understanding and alignment of the AM and business initiatives. The Tech Ops AM Associate Analyst will be responsible for building relationships and closely coordinating with all IT management to ensure maximum AM deployment, storage, and disposal.
The Tech Ops AM Associate Analyst will be capable of managing multiple simultaneous demands, delivering timely results, and leading the team to operational excellence through continual service improvement. The Tech Ops AM Associate Analyst will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Support the operational direction for the Tech Ops locations, its services, and functions.
- Follow the direction given is in line with the Technical Operations Asset Management Supervisor's guidance and company goals/directives.
- Ensure the direction given enables the organization to achieve the Tech Ops vision and mission.
- Respond to the organization's changing business requirements and ensure the Tech Ops AM team maximizes value, by reducing incidents, disruptions, and decreasing re-work.
- Identify critical success factors for the operation and drive the development of metrics and reporting to better target and measure success.
- Ensure the Tech Ops AM department consistently meets service level standards while increasing value on a periodic basis.
- Works efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce high quality material with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure AM team compliance to policies, standards, process, procedures, control and oversee enforcement efforts to ensure services are being provided with a high level of quality.
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all IT users, IT staff, external vendors, and the leadership of business units.
- Collaborate with other IT organizations to ensure a strong alignment (strategy, goals, objectives, measurements, etc.) that enables the department to collectively meet customer and organizational goals.
- Inspire internal and vendor teams to achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
- Three or more (3+) years of work experience in IT support or on a technology team.
- A strong background in shipping and receiving procedures.
- Three or more (3+) years of expertise in Service Now Hardware asset management.
- Three or more (3+) years of experience maintaining and managing accurate records of all IT assets including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Experience leading meetings, speaking in front of large groups, and presenting technical and business information to stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and coaching others.
- ITSM practitioner, achieving results through leveraging best practices.
- Experience supporting and working within a large enterprise.
- Requirements gathering experience.
- Continual Service Improvement experience.
- Resource management and prioritization.
- Developing product lifecycle road maps.
- Project Planning and resource allocation.
- Reporting tools and designing metrics.
- Assisting with troubleshooting system performance and availability issues.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and tools.
- Knowledge of Program / Project Management.
- Knowledge of ITAM processes and tools, including auto discovery and reconciliation.
- Experience in Retail, point of sale and distribution center environments.
- Desired formal training and/or certification in:
- IT Infrastructure.
- IT Asset Management.
- ITIL practitioner level courses or similar best practice framework for IT service management.
- Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM) Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Implementor.
- Service Now Administration Fundamentals, Service Now HAM (Hardware Asset Management). Obtain within the first 90 days.
- RTG Forklift Certification. Obtain within the first 90 days.
