ASSYST is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Data Warehouse Analyst to join our client team in Tallahassee, FL
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Position: Onsite
The Data Warehouse Analyst designs, develops, and supports enterprise data warehouse and data lakehouse solutions to enable business intelligence, reporting, and analytics. The role requires strong expertise in data integration, data modeling, and performance optimization, with a primary focus on Snowflake Data Cloud and Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders, supports data architecture strategy, and mentors team members on data warehousing best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data integration and data warehousing solutions using Snowflake and Informatica IICS.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT processes to ensure accurate, efficient data movement.
- Contribute to enterprise data warehouse and lakehouse architecture and strategic planning.
- Analyze transactional source systems and design optimized data warehouse models for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and test Power BI and Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Maintain data warehouse metadata, standards, and documentation.
- Coach and mentor team members on data warehousing concepts, BI tools, and data integration practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience in data management, business intelligence, and enterprise data warehousing.
- Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration, including administration and performance tuning.
- Experience with Informatica on‑prem tools such as Power Center and Data Quality.
- Hands‑on experience with ELT architectures and Change Data Capture (CDC) tools (e.g., Power Exchange).
- Expertise in data modeling for BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Working knowledge of IBM Mainframe environments (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
- Experience with data governance and metadata tools (EDC, Axon, CDGC).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
