Scope of Work

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience in Active Directory Administration.
• Five (5) years of experience with Cloud Administration.
• Strong understanding of Azure core services and their functionalities.

Education/Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Preferred consultant experience provided by Contractor shall include:

• Power Shell scripting.
• Dev Ops principles and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong understanding of virtual networking and security protocols.
• Cost Management and Optimization.

Required Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements for remote access.
• Design the architecture, topology, and components of the Always On VPN solution.
• Define server placement, load balancing, and redundancy strategies.
• Set up and configure VPN servers and infrastructure.
• Implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for server and client certificates.
• Configure VPN profiles and policies for different user groups and devices.
• Ensure security compliance and encryption standards.
• Monitor and address security vulnerabilities.
• Document VPN architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Create user guides and training materials.
• Provide user training on VPN connection procedures.
• Architect and implement an end-to-end B2C strategy, including application dependencies, user flows, and compliance with statutes. Single sign-on and MFA are required.
• Design and maintain a secure identity and access management solution.
• Resolve operational issues related to enterprise servers and Active Directory.
• Maintain enterprise servers' lifecycle management.
• Implement enhancements and automations in the AD domain.
• Recommend improvements for AD processes and Group Policy.
• Assess cloud readiness of enterprise systems.
• Provide knowledge transfer to staff.
• Report on project status.
• Ensure availability and continuity of Windows servers and domains.
• Follow all standards and procedures.
• Complete required policy training.
