Sharepoint Administrator

Our Client is looking for a Systems Administrator to play a key role in assisting the Strategic Architecture Services team with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Power Platform and SharePoint servers and sites. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for working on projects, systems, and/or issues of medium to high complexity and providing daily operations support, maintenance and administration for SharePoint servers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises administration, including site management, permissions, and content management.
• Experience supporting Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Office 365, One Drive, and Teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and integration issues for Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Understanding of governance and compliance best practices in Power Platform and SharePoint environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for diagnosing technical issues.
• Basic network concepts and web‑based application troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and maintaining user guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms (e.g., Service Now) for ticket management and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of IIS Administration is a plus.

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Power Platform applications and SharePoint on‑premises and online server environments to ensure security, availability, and performance.
• Consult with users and analyze workflows to establish new Power Platform and SharePoint system specifications.
• Upgrade SharePoint systems by coordinating with vendors, developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
• Provide user support and resolve incidents related to Power Platform and SharePoint functionality, permissions, and access control.
• Assist Power Platform users with simple applications, automated workflows, and dashboards.
• Perform regular site audits, monitor usage, and ensure optimal performance for SharePoint.
• Generate reports on usage, issues, and ticket resolutions for Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with end‑users to recommend appropriate Power Platform and SharePoint solutions and enhancements.
• Maintain documentation for Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, including design documents, best practices, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct Power Platform and SharePoint training sessions and create knowledge base articles for common user issues.
• Work closely with other business offices to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
• Continuously update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networks, and organizations.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
• Accomplish organizational goals by taking ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
• Support other IT staff, including developers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
