Data Warehouse Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to join our team on a long‑term contract basis in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves working in a dynamic environment to analyze, design, and manage data within a Snowflake cloud‑based data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data mining, and database architecture, and will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and usability of enterprise data systems.

• Analyze business requirements to develop system specifications and ensure alignment with organizational data needs.
• Design and manage data architecture within the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment.
• Utilize tools such as Informatica Power Center and Intelligent Data Quality for data integration, cleansing, and management.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support organizational reporting and analytics.
• Perform data mining and analysis using platforms like Power BI and Tableau to derive actionable insights.
• Validate and ensure the accuracy of data loaded into the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with users to define reporting requirements and provide technical consulting on data usage.
• Prototype and test data solutions, including replication, extraction, loading, and transformation processes.
• Monitor and maintain knowledge of relevant software tools, scripts, and languages to optimize data management.
• Create and execute validation plans to ensure data quality and reliability.

• Proven experience in designing and managing cloud‑based data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
• Proficiency in data integration and management tools such as Informatica Power Center and Enterprise Data Catalog.
• Strong skills in data modeling, mining, and analysis using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of database development and architecture principles.
• Familiarity with data validation processes and techniques to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to develop and test prototypes and scripts for data solutions.
• Solid understanding of reporting requirements and the ability to translate them into actionable data models.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with users and stakeholders.
