Data Warehouse Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to join our team on a long‑term contract basis in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves working in a dynamic environment to analyze, design, and manage data within a Snowflake cloud‑based data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data mining, and database architecture, and will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and usability of enterprise data systems.
Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements to develop system specifications and ensure alignment with organizational data needs.
- Design and manage data architecture within the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment.
- Utilize tools such as Informatica Power Center and Intelligent Data Quality for data integration, cleansing, and management.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support organizational reporting and analytics.
- Perform data mining and analysis using platforms like Power BI and Tableau to derive actionable insights.
- Validate and ensure the accuracy of data loaded into the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with users to define reporting requirements and provide technical consulting on data usage.
- Prototype and test data solutions, including replication, extraction, loading, and transformation processes.
- Monitor and maintain knowledge of relevant software tools, scripts, and languages to optimize data management.
- Create and execute validation plans to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Proven experience in designing and managing cloud‑based data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Proficiency in data integration and management tools such as Informatica Power Center and Enterprise Data Catalog.
- Strong skills in data modeling, mining, and analysis using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Knowledge of database development and architecture principles.
- Familiarity with data validation processes and techniques to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to develop and test prototypes and scripts for data solutions.
- Solid understanding of reporting requirements and the ability to translate them into actionable data models.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with users and stakeholders.
