Location: Tallahassee
The Department of State seeks a Systems Programming Consultant to analyze and develop database solutions for the Florida Voter Registration System and related applications. The role involves writing SQL queries and scripts, designing data models, managing database infrastructure including backups and performance tuning, and assisting in application development. The position is located in Tallahassee and requires strong expertise in database administration and programming.
Keyqualifications:
- At least 4 years of application development experience OR 2 years application development plus 2 years in another IT field
- Experience with PL/SQL, T-SQL, P-SQL and MS SQL
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux server administration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems preferred
