Business Analyst

Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support IT projects through business requirements analysis, stakeholder collaboration, technical documentation, and software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, automated testing frameworks, REST API testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of IT business/industry work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience performing business analysis on IT projects.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in requirements gathering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Minimum 7 years of experience conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing, maintaining, and scaling custom automated testing frameworks from scratch, including frameworks using the Page Object Model.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automation testing, including designing, writing, and executing test scripts using Selenium or similar tools to validate system functionality and identify software defects.
• Minimum 7 years of experience creating and updating automation scripts to accommodate UI changes and new feature deployments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in REST API and microservices testing, including endpoint validation, contract checks, and payload verification using Insomnia or similar tools.
• Proficiency in testing and validating REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or other API testing tools.
• Minimum 7 years of experience translating functional specifications into technical specifications for development teams.
• Minimum 7 years of experience translating business requirements into use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Minimum 7 years of experience converting meeting discussions and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and process flow diagrams.
• Minimum 7 years of experience creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Minimum 7 years of experience collaborating with QA teams, coordinating UAT schedules, conducting UAT sessions, and guiding business testers through workflows.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with process modeling and diagramming tools, such as Microsoft Visio.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manual testing, including developing test scenarios and executing manual tests against business requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing, including designing, writing, and executing automated test scripts to identify software defects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Experience deriving business process and data requirements by analyzing process and system documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate JAD sessions and collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, developers, and QA teams.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop process flows, mock-ups, and process models to communicate business workflows.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
• Execute manual, automated, REST API, and microservices testing.
• Validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate and support UAT activities, including test schedules, business tester guidance, and results documentation.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, data dictionaries, and other project artifacts.
• Use Azure Dev Ops/TFS and process modeling tools to support requirements management, testing, and project delivery.
