Location: Tallahassee
Application Systems Programmer II in the Division of Information Technology at Florida Commerce, responsible for administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/WLAN systems and critical power systems. The role provides hands-on technical support for network operations, equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements while supporting vulnerability remediation and ensuring network service security and availability. Pending reclassification to Senior Network Systems Analyst.
Keyqualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with WAN/LAN/WLAN administration and design
- 3+ years of experience with wireless network system administration and design
- Knowledge of network monitoring software such as Manage Engine or Solar Winds
- Knowledge of managing and maintaining Meraki wireless systems and Cisco IOS technologies
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation practices including security patching and firmware updates
- Must be available for on-call duties and/or overtime as required;
Level 2 security background screening required
