Desktop Support Technician

Desk Support Technician I – Tallahassee, FL

$22-$25/hour

Seeking a customer-focused IT professional to provide first-level technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related technology. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring equipment, supporting Microsoft applications, documenting service requests, and assisting end users with day-to-day technical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop and technical support to end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and peripherals
• Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate
• Travel between local sites as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Associate degree in a related field preferred
