Helpdesk Support Technician – Tallahassee, FL
$18-$25/hour
We are seeking a customer-focused Helpdesk Support Technician to provide first-line technical support to end users in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues and service requests, assisting users with hardware, software, password, email, and connectivity concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and document IT service requests and incidents
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, email, and system issues
- Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
- Reset passwords and assist with user account support
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams
- Track and update tickets through resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions
- Deliver professional and timely support to end users
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of helpdesk, technical support, customer support, or IT experience
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Experience using a ticketing system preferred
- Associate degree or related technical training preferred
