As Planning Coordinator you'll ensure efficient and effective planning of equipment and human resources according to Sarens' project management methodology and Group SHEQ standards. You'll optimise schedules, coach operators, and guarantee compliance while keeping projects safe, on time, and cost-effective. Your role is key to delivering brilliant solutions and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Your job in a nutshell- Ensure all planning activities comply with Sarens' SHEQ standards and local legislation.
- Motivate and coach teams to work safely and efficiently.
- Optimise planning of operators, equipment, transport, and travel based on project needs.
- Act as the first point of contact for operators, riggers, and drivers, ensuring clear communication.
- Handle resource rentals and manage invoices and purchase orders according to guidelines.
- Monitor worksheet flow and maintain accurate registration of equipment.
- Approve leave requests and manage absence according to local procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report to the Planning Supervisor and collaborate with the local management team.

Required- Experience in planning or coordination within industrial or heavy equipment sectors.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with SHEQ standards and compliance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
- Exposure to Lean principles and continuous improvement.
