Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Water/Financial Circuit Rider based in various areas of FL. The role involves assisting water and wastewater systems with financial management, operational efficiency, compliance strategies, and asset management. Daily tasks include providing technical guidance, delivering training sessions, conducting assessments, advising on funding opportunities, and supporting regulatory reporting requirements. The Circuit Rider will engage closely with local utility professionals and stakeholders to ensure systems operate effectively and sustainably.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in water and wastewater system operations, including technical and regulatory knowledge.
- Solid skills in financial management and budget preparation for utilities, asset management, and funding coordination.
- Ability to deliver training and provide educational resources, along with strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Problem-solving skills and knowledge in engineering or technical troubleshooting related to water systems.
- Proficiency in federal and state regulations applicable to water and wastewater systems.
- Travel around regional sections of Florida for on-site assistance and training sessions required.
