Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a passion for creating safe, reliable, and well-functioning environments? We are seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep and continuous improvement of our healthcare facility.
The Maintenance Director will oversee the safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance of all facility systems—including electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and life safety. This role manages a small team, coordinates preventive maintenance programs, and ensures timely response to repairs that support quality resident care.
What We’re Looking For- Strong electrical and HVAC knowledge
- Experience with life safety systems (required)
- Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or healthcare maintenance experience
- Ability to lead a team and prioritize multiple projects
- Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Monday–Friday, Full-Time
- Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually

The Maintenance Director oversees the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, systems, and grounds, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. This role leads a team to provide routine and emergency maintenance, manages facility improvement projects, and ensures a safe, functional environment for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership:
Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing training and performance oversight. - Facility Maintenance:
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment. - Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety codes and healthcare regulations, including life safety and infection control. - Budget Management:
Manage the department’s budget, resources, and vendor contracts. - Project Management:
Lead facility improvement and capital projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. - Collaboration:
Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Education:
High school diploma required; degree in engineering or facilities management preferred. - Experience:
5+ years in maintenance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
