At our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, we are seeking a Production Planner responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules to ensure they align with customer delivery requirements and company goals. This role involves planning and managing and analyzing production timelines, inventory levels, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Important NoticeOnly U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and production capacity.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, procurement, and other relevant departments to allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources are available to meet scheduled work.
- Serve as liaison between departments to facilitate smooth production operations.
- Track and report on schedule adherence and performance metrics.
- Track and manage gear sub-assemblies.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the entire production process.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate inventory management to maintain production operations.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations based on schedule to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Prepare and submit the status of components.
- Report inconsistencies that could jeopardize TAT.
- Aerospace industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to compile and present data that facilitates information sharing and decision making.
- Able to synthesize considerable and complex data and multitask.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
