About the Role:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate heavy equipment, such as loaders and trucks, to manufacture compost and other soil amendments.

Shift: M-F 7AM-5:30PM and rotating Saturdays 7AM-3PM (Job Type: Full-time) |

Responsibilities

Safelyandeffectivelyoperatevariousformsofheavyequipmenttomoveproductsandfeed shredders, grinders, and screens
Upload Daily Production Reports
Safelyloadproductontorolloffcontainersorwalkingfloortrailers
Performdailymaintenanceandsafetychecksofequipment
Maintainacleanandorganizedworkingenvironment
Observeandcomplywithallapplicablesafetyregulations,rules,policies,and procedures
Reportanysafetyconcerns/hazardsordefectstoleadershiponsitewhenidentified
Maintaincollaborativeworkingrelationshipswithdrivers,operators,and coworkers
Participateinexternal,Department and Company-widetrainingstoincreaseskillsetsand improve service
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum

Job Qualifications:

High School Diplomaor GED preferred
Stateissueddriver'slicense
OSHA 10 or higher certificate preferred

Physical Requirements:

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
