Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced ER Nurse RN to join our team! The ER Nurse works under the supervision of the ER supervisor and nursing director, responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department. Key responsibilities include assessment, triage, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, as well as orientation, supervision, and teaching of staff. The ER Nurse manages shift workflow, ensures compliance with hospital policies, and adheres to AHCA regulations.

• Assess physical and psychological needs of patients in emergent situations.
• Document findings and communicate with providers to prevent patient deterioration.
• Utilize available resource materials effectively.
• Establish priorities of care in urgent situations.
• Coordinate with team members during patient admission/discharge, assessments, treatments, and education.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school and current Florida RN licensure.

Experience: Minimum of three years medical/surgical experience; one year in emergency or critical care preferred.

Skills: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; may obtain ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire.

Position is part-time, suitable for mid-senior level professionals in healthcare, specifically in hospital settings.
