RN Pulmonary – Healthcare Client

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in pulmonary care for a top healthcare client located in High Springs, FL.

Base pay: $68,000.00 / yr – $88,000.00 / yr. Actual compensation will be based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter for details.

• Collect comprehensive patient data relevant to respiratory conditions and analyze assessments to determine priority diagnoses.
• Develop individualized outcomes and a plan of care addressing the patient’s pulmonary and overall health status.
• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate effectively as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families about medications, respiratory procedures, and treatments, providing ongoing support.
• Ensure efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment in administering all treatments.
• Perform procedures and monitoring functions as ordered by medical providers, with thorough documentation.
• Provide direct care and treatment to acutely ill or recovering adults, utilizing autonomous clinical assessment skills.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Completion of an accredited nursing program required.

• Minimum of one (1) year of Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
• Prior experience in a Pulmonary, Respiratory, or Med‑Surg unit highly desirable.

• Licensed as an RN in Florida, Multistate, or willing to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required before start.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Ability to make autonomous clinical assessments and manage treatment protocols effectively.
• Strong advocacy and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Expertise in patient education, particularly regarding medications and complex treatments.
