OverviewDelivery of nursing care. Applies current nursing principles and techniques in the care and treatment of patients. Takes vital signs and administers medication as prescribed. Assists physicians in patient management and treatment. Provides nursing assessment, monitoring, education, and treatment services and activities. Provides crisis intervention. Completes nursing assessments under the supervision of an RN.
ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESShift: 7:30am-8:00pm, 12 hour Day
Qualifications Education/Experience- Official transcripts from approved vocational or technical school.
- Minimum of one (1) year of LPN experience preferred.
- Previous psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience preferred.
- Licensure as a practical nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464.
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
