  Well-loved trauma center with a 25 bed ED that treats over 52,000 ED patients annually
• The Director, Emergency Department will be very well supported by a team of experienced Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators and a ED Department Educator
• Reports directly to a dynamic and transformational Chief Nursing Officer who loves to mentor and grow her leaders

Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary oversight of the department, building collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and physicians, maintaining and improving key performance indicators, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided consistently.

• BSN required / Master’s preferred
• Active RN License
• 5+ years clinical ER nursing experience
• 3+ years of ER leadership experience at the Manager level or above (similar size or larger ED)
• Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership
• Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels
• Collaborative, team building personality style
