• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020 per week

• Weekend/Holiday/Call:
  Every other weekend, holidays and call as needed
• Floating:
  Required to Mother Baby Unit and other campus locations

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery at a 500 bed hospital
• 2 years of experience in high-risk OB settings
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM
• Preferred certifications:
  Inpatient OB, Maternal Newborn Nursing
• Experience with Level III L&D and NICU preferred
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

• Deliver comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor and delivery
• Perform antenatal and labor assessments, vaginal exams, and newborn care
• Administer and monitor medication infusions (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate), start IVs, and PCA
• Circulate and recover C-sections as needed
• Float to Mother Baby Unit to provide immediate care and daily assessments for newborns
• Document patient care using Sunrise Clinical Systems and Centricity CPN fetal monitoring system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory and anesthesia support
• Maintain a nurse-patient ratio of 1:2 for high-quality, patient-centered care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to uphold unit protocols and best practices
