Standing Emergency Room RN

Title: Free-Standing Emergency Department RN – Tallahassee, FL

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Schedule: Days, Nights, or Mids with rotating weekends
• Compensation: $27.72–$39.60 per hour depending on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 days and $15,000 nights
• Relocation: Case by case

Lead rapid triage and evidence-based care in a free-standing ED serving diverse adult and pediatric populations. Work with an experienced, supportive team focused on outcomes.

• Triage, assess, and treat across all acuity levels
• Prioritize multiple cases and coordinate safe throughput
• Initiate, document, and evaluate plans of care and outcomes
• Provide patient and family education and clear discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, transport, imaging, lab, and inpatient units
• Maintain regulatory readiness, accurate documentation, and safety standards

Required

• Active Florida or Compact RN license
• 1 year recent acute-care ED RN experience
• BLS at start; CPI, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days
• ADN/ASN or Nursing Diploma

Preferred

• BSN
• High-volume ED experience; preceptor or charge exposure

• Hourly base $27.72–$39.60 DOE
