Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Full‑time, night shift 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with every other weekend rotation.

The Refuge, A Healing Place, is a premier residential program treating adults with PTSD, eating disorders, addiction, depression and co‑occurring disorders. The campus spans 96 acres in the beautiful Ocala National Forest.

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and theirево families about various conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of practice as defined by state regulations, policies, procedures and protocols styles and corporate procedures.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible, verified and transcribed appropriately per policy.
• Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis, gathering and documenting pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status such as difficulties with detox, medical emergencies, or changes in response to medications.
• Ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and that all plans are specific to assessed needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of universal precautions while providing direct patient care.
• Accurately tracked medication administration, documenting controlled‑substance medications on required documents.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately as directed.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients while maintaining professional boundaries lijst and rational detachment.
• Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as directed.
• Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co‑workers and other involved treatment staff.

• Graduated Sanctuary an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required, or eligible to practice under state rules.
• One year of nursing experience (psychiatric, mental health or substance abuse experience a plus).
• CPR and de‑escalation/ restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
