Nurse Practioner

Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide adult primary care in an outpatient clinic setting, with an emphasis on internal medicine and primary care. The role reports to the medical director and collaborates with a supervising physician to deliver comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess adult patients and establish diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage prescriptions and medication-related care.
• Provide health education and patient counseling.
• Coordinate care with patients, providers, and the broader care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver preventive care services.
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing.
• National Nurse Practitioner certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in nurse practitioner practice.
• Clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Patient education and care coordination skills.
• Clinical decision-making skills.

An experienced MA will be responsible for direct patient care along with supporting the providers in evaluating, treating and educating patients with multiple medical problems.
