ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology (Night Shift) in Tallahassee, Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week with every other weekend as needed.

The Medical Oncology unit at Capital Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The unit comprises 33 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring a focused and manageable patient care environment. As a member of the nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to our oncology patients, including administering inpatient chemotherapy. Our facility emphasizes the use of advanced technology, such as electronic whiteboards and iPhones with iMobile, as well as a comprehensive documentation system through Meditech.

• Administer inpatient chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments to patients.
• Conduct hourly patient rounds during the day and every two hours after 9 PM to ensure patient comfort and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training programs.

• Must possess strong nursing skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Experience administering chemotherapy is preferred; ONS chemotherapy training is required.

• Current RN license in Florida.
• BLS certification is required; preferred certifications include Med-Surg and Palliative Care.
