Responsibilities- Supports faculty‑led research and evaluation projects by contributing to literature reviews, participant recruitment, data collection, analysis, and dissemination activities (e.g., annual reports to the Legislature, scholarly journals). This individual will contribute to projects that advance child welfare research, policy, and practice through collaborative, high‑quality work. Projects will be assigned annually based on Institute priorities, individual expertise, and individual interest.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and evaluation of child welfare‑related research projects.
- Collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Assist in participant recruitment and interview scheduling (as needed).
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings.
- Draft reports, briefs, and other dissemination materials.
- Collaborate with faculty, graduate assistants, and programmatic staff.
- Support continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning and development.
- Academic master's degree or highest‑level terminal degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Experience with research methods, data analysis, and academic writing.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with survey software (e.g., Qualtrics).
- Familiarity with child welfare systems or human services in Florida.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Annual task supervision will be assigned based on project alignment and may change each year. These positions are part of a strategic expansion of the FICW’s Research & Evaluation team. Opportunities for professional development and involvement in high‑impact research initiatives.

AnticipatedSalary Range
Anticipated starting salary is in the mid $60,000’s to mid $70,000’s, commensurate with education and experience.
