We are seeking a dependable and experienced Shift Lead to join our team at our cafe/coffee shop. The ideal candidate will be a skilled barista with strong leadership abilities, a heart for hospitaltiy and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for both our guests and team members. As a shift lead you will oversee daily operations during your shift, guide and support staff, ensure smooth and efficient service and help maintain our cafe's warm and uplifting atmoshphere.

Hours needed: one weekday, evenings and weekends, including Sunday mornings.

• Supervise cafe operations during assigned shitrs, ensuring all areas run smoothly and efficiently,
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive, Christ-centered atmosphere.
• Support, train and motivate team members in barista skills, customer care and dailyu operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe, espresso bar, kitchen and seating areas at all times.
• Close out POS accuratley and follow closing proceedures.
• Assist with closing duties, including cleaning the kitche, espresso bar and dining areas.
• Monitor staff performance and hewlp keep team members on task throughout the shift.
• Handle customer concerns
• Be knowledgable about coffee and specialty drinks and available spaces for group gatherings.
• Communicate effectively with management and assist with assinged tasks such as inventory checks, scheduling or ordering supplies.
