Job Summary: The Restaurant Busser at Cheeca Lodge and Spa plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. With efficiency and a welcoming demeanor, you will graciously restock and replenish food‑service supplies, assist the wait staff, and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our restaurant. Job Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and make all guests feel welcome upon their arrival at the restaurant.
• Clear all used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables and transport them to designated areas.
• Wipe tables, chairs, and clear debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding each table.
• Reset tables in accordance with established standards to seat new guests as quickly as possible.
• Remove full tubs of used items from bus stations to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and orderly bus station at all times to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dishroom and distribute them to each service station to ensure a ready supply for restaurant use.
• Polish glassware and silverware to maintain their cleanliness and presentation.
• Examine each table for missing items and promptly replace or address any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and attractive restaurant environment.
• Clean floors as requested.
• Retrieve clean linens at the beginning of the shift and as needed during the shift, folding them as specified by established standards and ensuring proper stocking levels in the service stations.
• Keep the work area clean and in compliance with Board of Health standards.
• Attend team briefings when relevant and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor, ensuring guest satisfaction by responding positively to inquiries and resolving issues or complaints with the assistance of a supervisor.
• Promote hotel amenities and services to guests using your personal knowledge and effective selling techniques.

Requirements:

• Fluent English required
• Professional demeanor and commitment to high‑quality guest service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
