The Barback is responsible for assisting Bartenders to provide efficient service to Center guests.

Located in downtown Tampa, the Straz offers flexible hours, event-based schedules including evenings and weekends, and a team-based work environment. Straz benefits for part-time staff include employee discounts and a 403(b) plan.

• Assists the Bartenders with providing excellent service to Center guests.
• Presents a neat and professional appearance in correspondence with the uniform code.
• Reports any maintenance issues to the Manager on Duty.
• Able to be on feet for a minimum of 5 hours a shift.
• Ability to work in face paced environment.

• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to determine bartender's needs in advance.
• Basic knowledge of bar set up and vernacular.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain stationary for extended periods of time, reach, and communicate both in person and by telephone.
