Seasonal Food Prep and Server Position

Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced role where you help fuel every guest's snowy adventure? Do you enjoy being part of a friendly team that values great food, cleanliness, and excellent customer service?

Join Snowcat Ridge, Florida's first Alpine Snow Park, as a Food Prep and Server for our exciting winter season. You'll prepare, cook, and serve food to guests in the Alpine Village Food Court, where hungry families come to warm up between snow tubing, ice skating, and snow play. This is a great opportunity to work in a lively setting, build valuable food-service skills, and help make every meal a highlight of the guest's visit.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures
Serve guests quickly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude
Assemble and package orders, including Snowcat Dining Plan meals selected by guests on arrival
Keep food at safe temperatures and label, date, and rotate stock
Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and utensils throughout your shift
Restock food, supplies, condiments, and packaging before and during service
Answer guest questions about menu items and ingredients, and refer allergy questions to a manager
Follow directions from managers and help teammates during busy periods
Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning and putting away food and supplies

Work Areas You May Be Assigned To

The Crunch Mob: Prepare and serve tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and chicken tenders
Oh My Grill!: Prepare and serve burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, mac & cheese, and french fries
Wild Pines Pizza: Prepare, bake, and serve New York style pizza by the slice or whole pie
Sunkissed Sweets: Prepare and serve funnel cake fries, soft serve ice cream, sundaes, and s'mores kits

Requirements

18 years or older
Clean, organized, and able to work quickly without cutting corners on food safety
Friendly, positive attitude and clear communication with guests and teammates
Able to take directions from managers
Reliable with punctuality and following instructions
Florida food handler training certificate, or willingness to complete the training within 60 days of hire
Available for weekends, evenings, and holidays during the season
Able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 25 lbs, work around hot cooking equipment, and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Helpful but Not Required

Experience in a restaurant, food truck, concession stand, or quick-service kitchen (training provided)
Customer service, hospitality, or theme park experience
