This is an excellent opportunity for a banquet chef, catering chef, line cook, or culinary professional who takes pride in quality, presentation, and thoughtful menu execution.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and execute high-quality banquet, catering, and a la carte food service that meets established standards for flavor, freshness, safety, and presentation.
• Collaborate on menu planning, seasonal menus, breakfast offerings, soups, and special-event selections that appeal to a diverse campus community.
• Use strong knife skills, sautéing, broiling, pantry, line cooking in an efficient kitchen environment.
• Lead by example in food quality and organized mise en place so every guest receives a polished dining experience.
• Support food cost management through careful preparation, proper storage, waste reduction, and smart use of ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area while following food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.

What You Bring:

• You bring proven culinary experience in banquet cooking, catering, restaurant service, hotel kitchens, institutional dining, or a similar fast-paced food production setting.
• You demonstrate confidence with menu planning and execution, balancing creativity with consistency, guest needs, and operational priorities.
• You have strong knowledge of food quality standards and safe food-handling practices.
• You work effectively as part of a kitchen team, communicate clearly, and remain calm, reliable, and detail-oriented during busy service periods.
• You have a Culinary Arts degree or comparable professional culinary training and experience.

Preferred Culinary Strengths:

• Knowledge of menu writing, menu engineering, and food cost management will help you contribute beyond daily production.
• A passion for creating attractive, nourishing meals for active young people will make you especially successful in this role.

Pay and Benefits:

Starting pay is $22 . Eligible team members enjoy health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance, along with flexible schedules with weekend shifts, sick leave, holiday pay, and paid time off.
