minimum qualifications- four (4) years of experience in accounting or financial management, two (2) of which must have been experience with processing disbursements, billing or financial reporting .
employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with chapter 435, florida statutes.
office hours are from 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Eastern standard time, monday through friday. Not eligible for telework.

position overview and responsibilities grant data entry and documentation- ensures agreement details in the revenue agreement tracking system (rats) align with official documents and communicates with divisions to address updates or discrepancies.
- establishes and maintains complete electronic grant/contract files in facts, including awards, contracts, budget details, amendments, and relevant correspondence.
- accurately enters new grant awards into facts and prepares cost sheets to support grant expenditure and budget monitoring.
- coordinates with division contacts to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate and consistent grant data across systems.
- enters new grant awards into the federal grant tracking system (fgts) and ensures the accuracy of all grant data entered.
- moves awards through the established approval workflow, ensuring all required steps and validations are completed.
- reviews and resolves discrepancies in coordination with agency divisions and provides timely updates throughout the process.
- communicates with the office of policy and budget (opb) to address and resolve discrepancies or missing information.
- verifies that all awards have complete and sufficient documentation prior to final approval and system completion.
- performs recurring monthly audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance within the agency’s grants management systems, including rats, facts, and the s: drive.
- documents findings, tracks discrepancies, and coordinates required resolutions.
- maintains accurate tracking logs, audit reports, and supporting documentation.
- escalates unresolved issues appropriately and follows up until resolution.
- accepts additional audit assignments as training progresses and seeks clarification or assistance as needed to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proficiency.
- serves as the fbo grants unit contact for updating systems and ensuring compliance with 2 cfr 200 for all grant and contract records.
- works with the immediate supervisor to gather information or provide answers when questions fall outside direct knowledge.
